The thickness of stretchfilm for machines with a pre-stretch unit is reduced during application on palletized unit, as the stretchfilm is stretched between two or more rolls placed in the machine carriage (pre-stretch unit).<\/p>\n

The reduction of thickness (downgauging) is a simple method to reduce the quantity of plastic and get a lightweight packaging.<\/p>\n
